Effective today, I have made the following changes tot he Crackhouse server:

1. Added the Christmas Map: dm_crackhouse_xmas to the rotation. This map and the regular cs_crackhouse map will rotate every 2 hours. This will continue through December 25th 2009 at which time I will restore the rotation to something else.

2. Reduced the mp_startcash value to $6000 per player from $16000 and changed the cost of the large Jihad Bomb to reduce Bomb exploiting by people who buy it repeatedly by exploiting the !buybomb command beyond the 3 bomb limit per player / per round.

Let me know if you discover any issues so they can be corrected.

Not just me, but a lot of us would really appreciate a voting system to kick/ban players for hacking. There isn't enough admins responding or in contact when hackers start headshot killing 5 people every second through the wall. Either that, or make more admins.

Last time I checked voteban, still exists, and not every player who is better than you hacks, and there is a way to report hackers

Sometimes "Nubs" abuse with the votekick and votebanning system so I suggest play on.

Yes, there are countless ways to reach an admin for our servers and I have yet to come back to my PC and find a Steam message about someone I missed cheating. If there is a cheater in one of our servers, please look under the "Support" menu drop-down at the top of our home page for the options to reach an Admin. You can also demo a player and submit them for a ban to our banning system. Doing this emails every admin immediately. The info for this can be found under the top menu under "Global Ban System" -> "Submit a ban" or at the very top of our home page where it says "Report a Cheater/Jerk"

Bellabasic, I don't want to discourage you from reporting cheaters or sound like we don't care. We truly do care and want to get rid of every cheater we can. We constantly evaluate our options to do so and welcome all feedback like this. We constantly try to make reporting cheaters as easy as possible. Short of having an Admin in every server 24/7 or having a Live-chat option (we actually used to do this but no one every used it) I don't believe there's much more we can do that we aren't already doing. If I'm wrong, tell me so I can look into it.

This week we added 3 new admins to help carry the load on Crackhouse. All are veteran players and play on that server all the time much of the day and night. This will hopefully help.

We can always tell when someone releases a new hack because there's a surge in bans that come in. This past week we had such a surge and I personally banned at least 10 people while spectating their behavior. We have banned 1000's of players so far, and they just keep coming. One things for sure and I can honestly say, BOOM! has of the best cheat protection available on all of our servers, but sadly, nothing out there stops it all. It's just not possible.

I'm extremely busy maintaining everything here at BOOM!, but I make Steam and Xfire messages about cheaters a top priority. If I'm at my PC, I drop everything to deal with them immediately. Every Admin in BOOM! is expected to do the same, and they have yet to let anyone down that I'm aware of.

In closing, please submit any and all feedback you have, just like this. It's awesome to hear and we will take it and run with it. Also, add the BOOM! admins to your friends list so you can reach one we have over 25 admins who are dedicated to ridding our servers of bungholes and cheaters.

We added a new map to the Crackhouse server today. It's called cs_crackhouse!v3. This new map extends things a bit and offers better balance to the game for CTs who have a tendency of getting owned in their spawn by window camping Terrorists. The server will rotate both the original map and this new one. Please reply with your feedback. So far it's been well received.

After running the new map for the past 12 hours, I received numerous responses via STEAM that the map created an AWP-fest and server regulars didn't like it. As a result, I have removed the map from the cycle and restored it to 24/7 original Crackhouse. At the request of a few people, I have made several attempts to cycle different maps on this server to change things up. Each time I was politely asked to return it to normal. I promise I will make no further attempts to add maps to this server unless the player traffic drops to the point I need to try something new to restore it.

I used to alter maps a few years ago, I wouldn't mind doing some Boom Gaming custom crackhouse maps. Maybe add some tunnels, that would be nifty!
