Bad device driver, mismatched or failing ram, or corrupted pagefile.sys... I would first look at making sure your drivers are up to date -- failing that, I'd run memtest for a few hours. Lastly, I'd ensure that the ram chips are matching (assuming dual-channel memory capabilities of your board), and then start looking at your pagefile.
