Our Gungame server has always been popular, but lately it's been full much of the day. I'm considering adding an overflow server and would like feedback as to what the second server should look AND act like.

Our current server requires two kills to level up, starts off with pistols and ends with a nade level. Chef's Van City Gungame server is basically the same as ours but only requires one kill to level up.

I'm thinking it would be cool to have yet another option to these servers, or we could make it identical to the current BOOM! Gungame server. I have written off "Elimination" because we tried that and people never really got into it.

I've seen wide variations in Gungames from what we have to one server that requires you level all the way up to nades then all the way back to to Glock before the game is over.

Can you all please reply and provide me with some suggestions as to what you would like to see a second BOOM! Gungame server look like so I can decide if we should do something?

The advantage to having a two-kill level up is it extends gameplay (especially on smaller maps), but it can be a pain in the ass if you are stuck on a weapon and when you think you are in the clear after a kill, but you need a second.

Athough I don't play much any more, I have always liked 1 kill level up

I love GG and the two kills per level is nice. However, I would like to see it go up to nade/knife and then back down to glock again. Or is there a way you could get the weapon menu after you get kills with all weapons and then you get to choose what you want?

I doubt that's possible, even if it was, mot a good idea though IMO. Perfect way to make Gungame another t Awpfest.

But yeah.

ELIMINATION! Random Gun Rotation!

Have Pistols Require 1 Kill
SMG's/Shottys Require 2 kills
Rifles Require 3 kills

I know it's possible to have different guns require different amount of kills. TDR does it. Except, they have it, 1 kill every gun except, Awp, M4, and AK.

I say since you're going to build another server anyway you should try it. Considering we still have the Original GG DM 2 kill level up. I can't see anyone complaining. Since if they don't like Elimination they can go to DM. And if they do like Elimination well there it is Smiley

I know I'd play it a lot xD I hate DM and Love elimination Cheesy

Aside from that. I seriously think you should try random weapon order as well Smiley

as for kills required how's this

USP - 1 Kill
P228 - 2 Kills
Deagle - 3 Kills
5-7 - 2 Kills
Dualies - 2 Kills
Auto Shotty - 2 Kills
Pump Shotty - 2 Kills

MP5 - 2 Kills
UMP - 1 Kill
P90 - 2 Kills
Galil - 2 Kills
Krieg SG 551- 2 Kills
AUG - 2 Kills
M4 - 3 Kills
AK - 3 Kills
Scout - 2 Kills
Awp - 1 Kill (Hate Awp lol) But seriously - 2 Kills
M249 - 2 Kills
D3/AU-1 - 2 kills
Krieg 550 - 2 Kills
Knife - 1 Kill
Nade - 1 Kill

I was gonna say you forgot the auto-snipers Killen, but when I looked at the weapons list for the SourceMod version of Gungame, I found they are missing from the list. I plan to re-add these so please specify the number of kills for each of them. They are the Krieg SG550 for CTs and the D3/AU-1 for Terrorists.

honestly i feel the 2 kill standard across the board is fair.  Maybe 3 for the m4 and AK. 

Also I HATE the shotties.  I maybe get 10 dmg per shot out of them at point blank.  I want that armor that can take a 12 gauge at point blank for only 10 dmg to my body.
